Plasma rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation is the most popular area of modern aesthetic cosmetics. In addition, progressive non-invasive (without harming the integrity of the skin) and even non-contact exposure methods are becoming increasingly popular today. And one of the most innovative and effective methods is plasma rejuvenation (non-surgical plastic).

Procedure for plasma skin rejuvenation

Most, if not all, types of skin resurfacing are based on the principle of controlled damage to the skin, which provokes the regeneration process that ultimately leads to a reduction in the visible signs of aging. The plasma method works the same way, but with a few tricks.

First, the active ingredient plasma is a high-energy ionized gas. Second, the nitrogen used is chemically inert and suppresses the burning of the tissue by displacing the oxygen required for the oxidation process. As a result, the layers of the skin are damaged by plasma (through heating, splitting, and evaporation), but they do not burn out as they would under the action of ablative lasers, so open wounds do not form. This approach reduces the risk of side effects like scarring, infection, and discoloration.

What to Expect from Plasma Rejuvenation

Reducing existing age-related changes, preventing their progression and occurring early. The procedure has a pronounced lifting effect (through "evaporation" of the skin flap), smooths the skin texture by reducing the depth of dynamic and static wrinkles, softens the natural wrinkles, improves and evens the skin tone. In addition, the result is not only achieved shortly after the start of the treatment cycle, but increases gradually over several months. The greatest effect can be expected after approx. 3 months.

application areas

  1. Non-surgical blepharoplasty.
  2. Treatment of stretch marks and removal of scars.
  3. Acne and Post Acne Treatment.
  4. Removal of wrinkles around the eyes (crow's feet), around the mouth (pouch).
  5. Elimination of slackness of the skin: on the neck, abdomen (postpartum abdomen).
  6. Align the facial contour.
  7. Removal of fibroids, nevi, papillomas, age spots, xanthelasma, dyskeratosis.

Contraindications

  1. Diagnosed oncological diseases of any localization.
  2. Presence or suspicion of precancerous skin diseases in the affected area. Other benign neoplasms are not a contraindication to plasma rejuvenation.
  3. ENT diseases in the acute stage (sinusitis and other forms of sinusitis, rhinitis, rhinosinusitis).
  4. Pregnancy. At the same time, the procedure has a relatively high safety profile, since it does not lead to systemic (general) changes and pronounced metabolic changes. And medical publications have reported the successful use of plasma rejuvenation in women carrying a child. But it should not be forgotten that physiological hormonal changes during pregnancy can affect the condition of the skin and change the effectiveness of the procedure.
  5. Breastfeeding.
  6. Blood disorders, but at the same time the presence of mild iron deficiency anemia in a satisfactory state of health is usually no reason to refuse the anti-aging procedure.
  7. The acute period of infectious diseases, the presence of an increased body temperature.
  8. Diseases of the thyroid gland accompanied by local or diffuse hypertrophy of its tissues and / or hormonal changes.
  9. Kidney and liver dysfunction.
  10. Cardiovascular diseases in the decompensation stage.

How is the procedure carried out

Plasma facial rejuvenation does not require special training, prior diet or lifestyle changes. However, a few days before the session, it is advisable not to use aggressive scrubs and scrubs, visit a solarium, and people prone to allergic reactions should not try new products and cosmetics.

Even patients with a low pain threshold do not need a local anesthetic when using the device. The healing / rejuvenation session lasts 15-30 minutes, its duration depends on the severity of the problem and the area of the area being treated.

The patient sits on a cosmetic chair or on a couch and the attending physician directs a pulsating jet or a plasma jet from the tip of the device onto her skin without contact. At the same time, it is possible to choose the most suitable operating mode for the respective patient. The session usually begins with a pretreatment of the skin in order to prepare it for subsequent stronger effects and to reduce the intensity of the sensations experienced. Once the procedure is complete, the treated area no longer needs to be applied. For the next 3 days it is advisable not to use peelings, peelings, or visits to the beach or solarium.

The recommended number of procedures is 1-2 procedures per year.
